It was of utmost importance to ladies to keep their skin as white and fair as possible. Suntans were very undesirable and a "lady" never exposed herself to such a thing.  BONNETS were also very practical to keep long hair out of the way and clean

Bonnet  Our standard Bonnet features a wide brim. Two ribbons in a casing gather the back ruffle in the center inside the bonnet and are adjustable for fitting.        Regular Size $22 Small (under 10 yrs or small heads)$15

BONNET 

This bonnet features a fairly long drape in back and it gathers with an outside pair of ties that reach over the top and tie in the back and determine the fit. Front ties are tied under the chin to secure it to your head.
