The painting, Heaven's Gate, came to Gail as a result of her prayers to the Lord. |
 Artist,
Gail Olbricht, of Hamilton, Montana began her artistic journey with tole
painting, having been introduced to it by her sister-in-law. After
many years she became interested in painting landscapes and a friend who
had taken some art lessons gave her some "tips". So, with
no formal training but lots of trial and error she developed her craft and
the paintings started to come forth. This painting, Heaven's Gate, came
to her after praying about her desire to paint a spiritual theme. Gail
says the Lord impressed upon her the idea of painting the gate to
heaven...and it flowed from her brushes to the canvas. |
